The Finance Specialist (Accounts Receivable) is an individual contributor role within a team environment. This individual excels at time/workload management and understands & utilizes escalation processes to ensure customer satisfaction. The Accounts Receivable Specialist is detail oriented and effectively leverages research skills to produce quality results. Ability to multi-task and adapt to process and procedural changes quickly are also key attributes in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results

People:

  • Responds to employee inquiries regarding systems, billing, new project setup, and cash application
  • Regular AR Review with Team
  • Communicates effectively with US team members when issues arise
  • Reviews staff prepared invoices for accuracy before sending to managers
  • Prepares daily status reports of team productivity.

Client:

  • Maintain a positive environment towards the work, customer internal and external and team
  • Proactive work status update to US / India liaison 
  • Monthly reports, reconciliations, & reviews with internal & External stake holders.

Value:

  • Managed services activities like New code Setups, Preparing, processing, accounting
  • Prepares daily, weekly, monthly report of billing status
  • Assists with weekly time posting processes
  • Prepares monthly engagement reporting
  • Compliance of Common AR Process
  • Single point of contact for all the Finance/Accounting escalations concerning AR
  • Deliver the AR Metrics
  • Strict adherence of Process outlined
  • Consistent review, monitoring to reduce Open items in Bank Recon.

Education and Experience:

  • B.Com /M. Com & MBA – Finance
  • 5-7 years of experience in AR.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, and Outlook, MS-Office.

Work Environment:

  • 50+ hour standard workweek requirement.
  • Standard indoor working environment.
  • Long periods of sitting while working at computer.
  • Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm.
