Summary:
As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure project milestones are met, addressing any challenges that arise, and providing guidance to team members to foster a productive work environment. You will also engage in strategic discussions to align project goals with organizational objectives, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and involved throughout the project lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Leadership and ownership for the successful execution of the initiatives and agreed scope on effort, time and quality.
- Being a trusted partner for business and sponsors, should be well aligned with all business and IT stakeholder.
- To implement the OKRs according to the QBR process resulting in aligned prioritization across all involved organizations.
- Helps resolve cross-stream conflicts, impediments and dependencies, aligns with stream/crew leads and facilitate reprioritization efforts.
- Able to analyze and propose a solution approach considering aspects like delivery risk, sustainable solution design, cost efficiency as well as time to market.
- Performs risk assessment, play an active role in risk mitigation and management and maintain and monitor a risk management plan.
- Provides the initiative plan and regular updates as needed (deadlines, milestones, delivery, requested and planned resources etc.) and ensures all relevant initiative deliveries along the rolling planning phases including effort estimations.
- Provides a syndicated and comprehensive reporting to the governance bodies.
- Ensures all necessary sign-offs according to the guidelines and performs all relevant reviews.
- Organizes and leads the initiative team (i.e. plans and manages allocated resources, shapes priorities, coordinates interactions with customers and users and keeps the initiative team focused).
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Program Project Management.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Profound knowledge of the IT system landscape, delivery models and proven track record.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to analyze project requirements and develop effective strategies.
- Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Program Project Management.
- The candidate should be willing to work from client location in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days a week.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
