Business Insider is hiring Work Experience Placement Students to join our Student Tech Team to work on a potential new feature for the Business Insider website.

The Role & Team:

As a Work Experience Placement Student at Business Insider you’ll work alongside a small, passionate team on designing and developing a new feature for our website. You’ll have the chance to work directly with our software developers, offering your insights and helping bring your ideas to life through hands-on learning.

Whether you’re typically shy in the background or you thrive in the spotlight, this is a safe space for you to express your ideas and be part of something impactful. We encourage everyone, no matter your confidence level, to get involved and be heard.

This role reports directly to the Student Tech Team Lead and will take place at our Belfast site office during the 3 day placement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to brainstorm, design and plan a new feature for the Business Insider website.
• Develop wireframes and design concepts that represent your creative ideas.
• Collaborate with developers to build, test, and deploy your web-based solution.
• Document the process of creating the feature, including any challenges and lessons learned.
• Present your project to the Business Insider team and your school at the end of the placement.
• Meet Business Insider employees and learn about the various roles within our global media and technology company.
