The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Product Specialist in Auckland, NZ. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving product sales from our hip, knee and shoulder portfolio, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our customers and growing our market share.

Responsibilities

  • Developing effective relationships and liaising with Orthopaedic Surgeons; promoting and driving the sale of our products
  • Identifying customer needs and optimising on opportunities including generating leads and presenting product information
  • Providing in-theatre clinical support during cases, delivering in-service training, conducting product demonstration and supporting new product launches
  • Providing exceptional support, addressing any technical issues and ensuring service excellence
  • Attending conferences/industry events, staying up to date on industry trends and competitor landscape to inform territory planning

About You

  • Degree qualified with proven skills in territory management, preferably within orthopaedic joint reconstruction
  • Strong business acumen, an understanding of the local orthopaedic market, and a proven track record of building professional and strategic relationships
  • Exceptional planning skills, attention to detail and strong team orientation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Ability to think strategically and constructively challenges customers
