Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to conduct the Noise, Vibration and function testing of the xEV DU and Motor units on the test dyno (including mounting, instrumentation, testing and dismounting).  This associate is responsible for coordinating the identification and retrieval of xEV units from mass production for sample testing as well as units to be tested during new model trial events.  Upon test completion, this associate will make initial judgment of acceptable or unacceptable results and escalate the findings to their supervisor/management and support containment and sorting operations to protect the customer.  Parts swapping and recreation testing may be required and expected to determine the suspect NG parts.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 4 - 6 years hands on shop work
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings

Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

  • 2-year College Technical Degree or ASE certification
  • Experience with Noise and Vibration testing
  • Technical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Siemens LMS

Software Qualifications:

  • Basic experience required in Windows, MS Office, and Microsoft Teams.
