In Greece we conduct business through our joint venture with the National Bank of Greece, NBG Pay. NBG Pay provides merchant acquiring services to small, medium, large and corporate merchants across Greece. Services include the authorisation, clearing, and settlement of credit, debit and prepaid card transactions between cardholders and merchants.

We are currently seeking a E-commerce Support Specialist to join our Operations team. The role focuses on supporting the day-to-day operation of our e-commerce platform, ensuring smooth order processing, accurate product and content management, and close collaboration with the Customer Service team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

About the role

  • Troubleshoot e-commerce merchant issues related to integrations, log in etc

  • Respond to inquiries via email or phone. Resolve complaints promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues when necessary.

  • Assist merchants with platform setup and onboarding

  • Monitor platform performance and escalate incidents when required

  • Work closely with technical and product team to resolve issues efficiently

  • Document issues, solutions, and FAQs to improve internal knowledge base.

  • Identify recurring issues, propose process or system improvements.

  • Ensure customer inquiries are resolved efficiently and in line with internal processes

  • Assist in preparing reports related to performance-commerce platform

  • Flag system issues, bugs, or inefficiencies and collaborate with internal or external stakeholders for resolution

About you

  • University Degree in business administration, economics or related quantitative field

  • 3+ Previous experience in e-commerce operations, support, or a similar role

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce order lifecycle and customer journey

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Customer Service, Logistics, and Tech teams

  • Comfortable working with e-commerce platforms, OMS, CRM, or ERP systems

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
