Northrop Grumman Corporation is seeking a Director of Corporate Contracts. This individual will be located at the Corporate Headquarters in Falls Church, VA and report to the Senior Director of Corporate Contracts.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop and harmonize enterprise-wide solutions to problems or issues arising across the contracts function

  • Develop corporate contracts guidance, policy, procedures, and training

  • Participation in, and/or review of, company proposals as needed

  • Participate/Lead various enterprise level Contracts and Property Councils / Working Groups

  • Assist in operational efficiency initiatives and facilitate the sharing of process improvements and best practices for Contracts among sectors

  • Lead cross sector tiger teams to facilitate 1NG solutions

  • Maintain an awareness and understanding of current Government acquisition requirements and proposed changes in acquisition laws, regulations, and policies

  • Lead efficiency improvement efforts for the Corporation

  • Maintain Sector relationships in contracts and property

  • Coordinate cross-functionally across the enterprise

  • Champion solutions for enterprise contacts administrative issues

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business management or a related field with minimum 12 years of relevant professional or military experience OR Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business management or a related field with minimum 10 years of relevant professional or military experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in business management and government contracts.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to make recommendations to leadership and provide guidance to effectively bring projects to completion.

  • Strong communication (both written and verbal) and collaboration skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Candidates must have a current DOD Secret level security clearance (or higher) in order to be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in appropriate discipline from an accredited educational institution

  • Experience in the aerospace industry

  • Experience with Northrop Grumman business operations and compliance

  • Experience in Property Management

  • Experience in developing and deploying tools

  • Knowledge of contract management systems, SAP, and Costpoint

  • NGECTAC Certification

Salary Range: $179,600.00 - $269,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
