Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to create efficient applications that align with organizational goals, while also addressing any challenges that arise during the development process. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that the software solutions are not only functional but also optimized for performance and user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:
-Support for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, ensuring production stability, usability, and SLA adherence in S/4HANA environments.
-Strong ABAP backend support expertise, including debugging OData services, CDS views, ABAP OO code, dumps, and data inconsistencies.
-End-to-end incident, problem, and change management, with hands-on RCA, defect fixes, minor enhancements, and transport handling.
-Fiori Launchpad and authorization support, resolving role, catalog, group, and access-related issues impacting business users.
-Performance monitoring and stability assurance, supporting SAP patches, upgrades, and regression testing for Fiori and UI5 components.
-Continuous improvement mindset, focusing on recurring issue reduction, code optimization, and reusable fixes in steady-state AMS.
-Strong cross-team coordination, working with functional, Basis, Security, and business teams under SLA-driven AMS operations


Professional & Technical Skills:
-Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
-7-8 years of SAP ABAP experience, with at least 3–5 years in Fiori/UI5 AMS or production support roles.
-Proven experience working in a steady-state AMS / Run support model (L2/L3).
-Strong exposure to S/4HANA landscapes, including upgrades, patches, and post-go-live support

Additional Information:
-Strong ABAP production support skills, including debugging ABAP OO, dumps, performance issues, and data inconsistencies in S/4HANA.
-Hands-on Fiori/UI5 support experience, covering Fiori Launchpad issues, UI rendering errors, navigation problems, and user-facing defects.
-OData & SAP Gateway troubleshooting skills, including service failures, metadata issues, authorization errors, and backend/frontend sync issues.
-Authorization & security awareness, including roles, catalogs, groups, and their impact on Fiori app access and behavior.
-Cross-functional coordination skills, working effectively with Functional, Basis, Security, and Integration teams in a run-support model.
