JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Determine the capacity of products and processes on areas of coverage

  • Coordinate with Ops, IE-Std and IE-Layout groups as reference of the capacity parameters

Conduct monthly strategic capacity profile analysis and perform semi-annual capacity planning

  • Ensure capacity parameters and projection are updated based on latest standards, equipment plan, and improvement projects implementation.
  • Recommend actions needed for Ops to meet the forecasted demand (4 months or more)
  • Coordinate with AML Tactical Ops Director for capital requirements upon agreement with AMPI Management Team. While non-capital items will be c/o Ops.
  • Recommend to Ops critical packages or stations requiring capacity improvement projects priority
  • Send Monthly Strategic Capacity Summary for Ops and Planned Manufacturing Capacity (PMC) Planning Scorecard reference
  • Update the Equipment Sheets based on Monthly Capacity Update
  • Align IE-Layout on equipment plan so they can assess space readiness

Perform planned capacity analysis

  • Monitor the actual vs planned capacity
  • Inform Ops and IE-Std on stations requiring standards review and validation
  • Highlight to SCPL group any abnormal demand that has significant impact on planned capacity

Support IE-Std on the semi-annual review of Commit Machine Utilization in coordination to Ops and IE-Std

Perform semi-annual DL HC forecasting

Perform semi-annual Indirect Labor HC Analysis (Maintenance Sustaining Tech)

Support Capacity and HC Analysis requests for:

  • New package costing and qualification readiness
  • Management decision making reference
  • Lean and improvement projects assessment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering
  • At least 23 years old
  • Minimum 2 years work experience preferably in semi-con industry
  • Handled strategic capacity planning and head count forecasting
  • Familiar on other core IE job and functions (standards UPH, productivity improvement projects, layout, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Excel, Word and Power Point
  • With exposure in manufacturing standards establishment, methods improvement, project management, layout, workflow analysis and documentation.
  • Good planning and analytical skills
  • Proficient in CAMSTAR, Oracle EDM Data, and Planning Kinaxis Reports
