The Kennel Technician position maintains the kennel and surrounding areas, provides for the daily care and feeding of the dogs, and implements and supports consistent dog training approaches.

Position Details/Benefits:

• $16.50 per hour
• Part time and Casual (Per Diem) hours available

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of professional or educational experience caring for animals
• At least one year year of experience working in customer service or related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of animal behavior and care
• Basic understanding of positive reinforcement training
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
• Basic computer skills, ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and learn web based systems
• Valid driver’s license and daily access to privately maintained and insured vehicle
• Successful completion of pre-employment process, including Criminal History, Child Abuse and FBI clearances
