About the Role

This role is responsible for delivering a best in class client experience for people analytics, transforming complex workforce data into intuitive, efficient, and insight driven enablement solutions. The role combines advanced analytics, user experience (UX) thinking, and strong data governance practices to ensure leaders can seamlessly navigate across Workday, Power BI, and Excel based tools to access timely, compliant, and decision ready people insights across compensation, talent, and recruiting.

Responsibilities of the Role

People Analytics & Business Storytelling

  • Transform raw people data into clear, compelling narratives that connect workforce insights to business outcomes.

  • Deliver executive‑ready insights that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities across compensation, talent, and recruiting Centers of Excellence.

  • Balance analytical depth with clarity, tailoring insights for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

  • Confidently present complex people analytics and insights to HR partners and senior business leaders to drive understanding, alignment, and action.

 

Data Platforms & Analytics Tooling

  • Leverage Workday as the system of record for people data, ensuring consistent definitions, accuracy, and governance.

  • Use Alteryx to prepare, transform, and automate data pipelines supporting scalable analytics solutions.

  • Design and maintain Power BI dashboards with a strong emphasis on usability, performance, and visual clarity.

  • Leverage AI‑enabled tools and techniques to accelerate insight generation, enhance storytelling, and develop deliverables more efficiently.

 

Client Experience & Analytics Enablement Design

  • Design analytics products with a client‑first mindset, focusing not only on what insights are delivered, but how easily users can find, access, and navigate them.

  • Proactively assess and optimize the end‑to‑end user journey to reduction of friction and duplication in how insights are consumed

  • Apply UX principles to create streamlined, intuitive experiences that enable efficient decision‑making.

 Risk Management, Data Privacy & Compliance

  • Handle personally identifiable information (PII) with a strong understanding of operating in a risk‑controlled environment.

  • Demonstrate consistent adherence to data privacy standards while enabling meaningful insights.

  • Ensure analytics products meet governance expectations across HR domains, including compensation, talent, and recruiting.

 

Collaboration, Iteration & Innovation

  • Work collaboratively with HR partners and stakeholders, actively soliciting feedback and iterating on solutions.

  • Demonstrate openness to critique and a continuous‑improvement mindset in refining analytics products.

Requirements of the Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Human Resources, Business, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5–7 years of experience in people analytics, HR analytics, workforce analytics, or a related analytical role.

  • Hands‑on experience working with Workday people data in an enterprise environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of Alteryx for data preparation, transformation, and workflow automation.

  • Demonstrated expertise in Power BI, including dashboard design, data modeling, and visualization best practices.

  • Leverages AI‑enabled tools to rapidly synthesize data, formulate insights, and accelerate the development of high‑quality analytics

  • Practical experience designing analytics with a user experience (UX) lens, including navigation, accessibility, and efficiency considerations.

  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex datasets and insights to senior, non‑technical audiences.

  • Strong client‑centric mindset with a focus on experience, usability, and adoption of analytics solutions.

  • Excellent presentation, storytelling, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly and confidently present complex people analytics to senior audiences.

  • High level of comfort using AI‑enabled tools to generate insights, accelerate analysis, and support rapid development of deliverables.

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to incorporate feedback and iterate effectively.

  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive people data.

  • Ability to balance speed, quality, and risk considerations in a regulated environment.

The salary range for this position in Charlottetown is $115,000 - $135,000/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location
