Act as a trusted adviser to clients by identifying their needs and advising clients on suitable banking, wealth management and other complex situations. We’ll look to you to build strong client relationships and trust, to enable you to identify, understand and help resolve their financial needs. You’ll be an ambassador for the business, continually promoting our image, reputation and credibility, while enjoying real variety in your work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Building and managing a portfolio of high net-worth wealth client relationships. You’ll be identifying opportunities to deliver against your clients’ wealth management needs and advising on the most appropriate Wealth products
  • Expanding the size and quality of your client base through initiating new relationships, developing existing ones and developing relationships with stakeholders
  • Ensuring first class regulatory compliance and risk management for your assigned portfolio
  • Meeting business objectives by increasing investments share of wallet and growing assets under management
  • Seeking out opportunities to develop new internal and external client relationships, and helping to retain our existing client base
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need to specifically state on your CV that you have the right to live and work in Jersey and Isle of Man

The skills you'll need

Your role will be based on interaction with our clients, so strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, allowing you to build effective networks to exceed their expectations through outstanding service.

You’ll need to hold a PCIAM level 6 or equivalent and any additional appropriate qualifications for more specialist advice activities. Crucial to your success will also be your ability to build deep client relationships and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, you’ll demonstrate:

  • An excellent understanding of customer requirements, including trends in financial, economic, market and social awareness
  • The ability to act as our representative in the marketplace and build powerful relationships with internal and external centres of influence
  • The ability to articulate current views on the macroeconomic environments and financial markets
