Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assemble, label and package orders for shipment to customers based upon current shipping systems being used.
  • Keep warehouse area neat and orderly.
  • Maintain a current valid certification for forklift use.
  • May work with other areas or departments as needed or as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: High school education; or up to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.  Ability to read, write and speak simple sentences in English.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with the use of a hand truck or up to 500 pounds with the use of a pallet jack. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, odors or airborne particles, and potentially hazardous chemicals, utilizing proper personal protective equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.  Some work is performed in a cold room.
