We currently have a great opportunity for a Program Manager within our Cloud team.
As a Program Manager, you will be an important contributor to achieving the sales and profit targets for Microsoft CSP sales programs to create the highest return for both Tech Data and the vendor.
While responsible for revenue outcomes, this is a sales enablement position. This will be achieved through marketing programs, sales training, sales support, technical pre-sales support, vendor contract and vendor relationships.
These activities, especially sales and marketing are targeted at both the Tech Data extended sales team and the partner community.
The Key Responsibilities can be summarised as follows:
Create and implement Microsoft CSP sales programs based on market opportunities and service capacities.
Take the lead for Marketing GTM planning, including managing Microsoft coop budget, reporting on spend against budget, Return on Investment reporting, and overall success of campaigns and activities
Enable the sales team to exceed vendor sales targets and drive profitable customer acquisitions, cross-selling opportunities, and churn prevention
Support the Microsoft program leads in end-to-end management of vendor sales and enablement programs
Identify opportunities to utilize Microsoft pre- and post-sales funding for services.
Align Microsoft programs and their sales strategies to accelerate growth and maximize sales impact.
Collaborate closely with Microsoft and internal marketing, sales, and services teams to generate demand among existing and new customers.
Monitor performance and results on a short- and mid-term basis
Provide direction, development and support to ensure the sales team is performing at optimum levels for the relevant product group. This will require a close working relationship with the Business Unit Manager.
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
High School Certificate or equivalent.
Preference for Degree or Diploma in IT or related field
Minimum 8 years’ experience in Sales, Business Development, Product or Channel management in the IT industry.
Proven ability in working with major IT Vendors and their sales representatives.
A general understanding of quoting.
Intermediate to advanced software skills, including MS Office suite and logical document based ERP systems.
Ability to work autonomously, devise process and manage time and prioritisation
