We are currently recruiting for a Tyre Fitter to join our team at our workshop in Skelmersdale to dismantle and remove tyres from all types of vehicles, for sale to both trade and retail customers.
The Tyre Fitter is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional fitting, repair, and maintenance of tyres on a wide range of vehicles. This role ensures customers receive high‑quality service, accurate advice, and work completed to industry safety standards.

The salary for this position is £26,950 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
Fit, remove, balance, and repair tyres on cars and light commercial vehicles
Check tyre condition, tread depth, pressures, and overall safety
Carry out puncture repairs
Assist with organising, handling, and monitoring tyre stock and materials
Operate workshop equipment safely and follow all health & safety procedures
Maintain cleanliness of the workshop and accurate job records
Provide clear advice to customers on tyre condition and recommended work
What we need from you:
Experience in tyre fitting or an automotive workshop
Confident using tyre machines, balancers, and related tools
Good understanding of safety procedures and safe manual handling
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to support your colleagues
