Tasks and Qualifications:
Responsibilities
- Develop, operate, and continuously improve KION Azure Cloud Environment to guarantee availability of systems & keep services running
- Implement and transport services into the KION Group's digital platforms in close cooperation with the development teams
- Monitor and analyze occurring failures (IT services, server, container etc.) in depth and solve them
- Support product teams with a knowledge of cloud services
- Act proactively by self-initiated projects and ensure efficiency
- Administer and provide upgrades to systems (Windows and Linux server)
- Develop technical skills in Google Cloud Platform to be the Subject Matter Expert in both Azure and Google Could Platform long term
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with infrastructure and services in public and private cloud environments (Azure is a must, GCP is beneficial)
- Experience in administration of Windows or Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment processes (e.g. Ansible, Azure DevOps Pipelines)
- Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and all cloud delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Experience in shell scripting (PowerShell, CLI, Bash) and state-of-the-art Cloud technologies for automation.
- Experience with monitoring or log aggregation tools (e.g. SolarWinds, Azure Monitor) is an advantage
- Growth mindset, self-organization, and interest in taking over ownership and bringing the team to the best solution
- English C1/C2 (German is a plus)
- Experience working in global organizations
