Job Description

As an Automotive Product Engineer, you will perform a full range of activities including, but not limited to: 

  • Work with Design and Test development engineering in evaluating products functionality and performance during product development stage
  • Work with Design, Quality, Failure Analysis, Assembly and Fab engineers during various stages of automotive qualification and safe launch
  • Author and execute characterization plans, safe launch plans, evaluation reports and design of experiments
  • Evaluate root-cause by performing Bench analysis of Automotive products

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
  • At least 5 years of related and progressive semiconductor manufacturing experience
  • Proficient in Product Testing, Statistical Tools (i.e. JMP, Datapower), Failure Analysis, Product Evaluation and Debug Techniques
  • Proficient in analysis of both analog and digital circuitry
  • Proficiency in using Teradyne Eagle, Ultraflex or SPEA is an advantage.
  • Experienced using bench equipment such as analyzers, oscilloscopes, meters and signal generators.
  • Skilled in Project Management, Statistical Analysis and Problem Solving
  • Motivated, results oriented and creative problem solver with good presentation and overall communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn something new quickly
  • Innately curious with a desire to understand the business operations of the organization
  • Has a bias for action and works in collaboration with others to deliver results
