CACI is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support our F3I program. The selected candidate must work from either the Rome, NY; Omaha, NE; or Hampton, VA office.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience with designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools like AWS CloudFormation through both automation and hands-on approaches.
  • Windows and Linux Operating system knowledge.
  • Knowledgable on the core AWS services related to permissions and networking and how they interact.
  • Capable of talking through technical details with both technical and non-technical customers in a way that each can understand.
  • A proven track record of working well in diverse team environments where communication is frequent.
  • Able to think between the lines.  For example, if a customer is asking for a new permission, instead of just granting it once approved, the person checks if the customer has an outdated permission set.  The customer should instead receive the updated set permissions if the customer's is outdated and then add in any remaining approved deviations.
  • Identify and support custom tools as required.
  • Identify and safeguard AWS cloud systems to ensure both reliability and security.
  • Handling AWS Account Access Requests.

  • Account Decommissioning - Dismantling AWS accounts and securing logs.

  • Working with external agencies to configure a direct connection until it is fully functional.

  • Creating or updating a role with deviations the customer has gotten approved.

  • IAM User - Creating or updating a person with a direct user account approved.

  • IGW Creation.

  • NAT Gateway.

  • New VPC - When the customer has an additional VPC approved.

  • Route Table Changes - Add/Modify.

  • Table Changes - Add/Modify.

  • Transit Proxy Whitelist Update - Whitelisting approved IP addresses within the Transit account's proxy.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s in computer science or related engineering disciplines and 5 years of related experience. (May substitute additional 3 years relevant experience in lieu of a degree or 3 years functional experience with a non-technical degree).
  • Experience in full lifecycle development of embedded software for DOD technical development efforts.
  • Experience with Agile workflows, AWS CloudFormation, JIRA (At least Familiar), and Git (At least Familiar).

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$74,600-$156,700
