About Us

As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you’ll discover meaningful work that makes a positive impact on a global scale. Join our colleagues in bringing our Mission to life every single day to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the world’s toughest challenges, like protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe or helping find cures for cancer.

Division Specific Information

The Digital Science and Automation Solutions (DSAS) business designs, develops, and delivers industry-leading laboratory workflow solutions and robotic automation for Pharma, Biopharma, and Genetic Testing customers. Our solutions enable customers to accelerate discovery, improve outcomes, and shape the lab of the future through connected, data-driven, and automated environments.

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Marketing Content Specialist within the Digital Science & Automation Services (DSAS) team and play a central role in how we communicate the value of our automated digital lab solutions.

In this role, you will transform complex scientific and technical capabilities across Digital Science Solutions (DSS) and Laboratory Automation (LA) into clear, compelling, and commercially relevant content. You will develop narratives that connect our technologies to real-world customer outcomes across industry verticals including the pharma value chain—from early research through to manufacturing.

Working closely with Product Management, Strategic Marketing, and cross-functional teams, you will create and optimise content that supports integrated marketing campaigns, strengthens sales enablement, and enhances digital discoverability—including emerging AI-driven search environments.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts, customer-facing teams, and sales stakeholders to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and continuously evolving based on performance insights and customer feedback. Your work will directly contribute to improving how our solutions are understood, discovered, and adopted across customer-facing and internal channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Development

  • Develop high-quality content across formats including web, articles, white papers, case studies, video scripts, and sales enablement tools

  • Build structured, persona-driven content that translates DSAS value propositions into consistent, outcome-led narratives across DSS and LA portfolios

Technical Translation & Content Quality

  • Partner with product managers, scientists, and subject matter experts to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and credible content

  • Ensure content accuracy and authenticity through structured SME collaboration and review processes

  • Maintain and continuously update website and digital content to ensure relevance, accuracy, and strong engagement

SEO & AI-Driven Discoverability

  • Optimize content for SEO and apply emerging best practices in AI-driven discovery, including Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)

  • Structure content to improve search visibility, relevance, and authority across digital and AI-driven platforms

  • Monitor evolving search trends and adapt content strategies accordingly

Campaign & Sales Enablement

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Strategic Marketing to support campaign development, messaging frameworks, and go-to-market execution

  • Create use cases, storytelling assets, and content frameworks that support sales enablement and customer engagement

  • Support the publication and distribution of content across sales enablement platforms, internal systems, and customer-facing channels

Customer Insight & Feedback Integration

  • Work with Customer Experience and Customer Support teams to capture customer insights, feedback, and real-world use cases

  • Translate customer feedback and support trends into relevant, high-impact content that reflects real user needs

  • Ensure content reflects evolving customer needs and market dynamics

Performance Measurement & Optimization

  • Track and analyze content performance and engagement metrics, including traffic, conversion, and search visibility

  • Report on content effectiveness and provide actionable insights to improve reach, engagement, and ROI

  • Optimize content based on data-driven recommendations

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations

  • Contribute to improving content workflows, governance, and best practices

  • Ensure alignment and collaboration across global and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Operate effectively within a matrixed organisation, ensuring alignment and consistency across stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, preferably within life sciences, scientific technology, or healthcare

  • Demonstrated experience developing content across multiple formats and digital channels

  • Strong writing and editorial skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling messaging

  • Understanding of content strategy, SEO, and digital content performance metrics

  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns and sales enablement initiatives

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Strong organisational and project management skills with attention to detail
Proactive, curious, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with content management systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools

  • Experience with AI-driven search optimisation, content structuring, or emerging digital discovery trends preferred

  • Background or exposure to laboratory workflows, automation, or digital science solutions preferred

  • Be a passionate lifelong learner eager to embrace and advance the future of automated digital laboratories
