What You Will Do:
Raytheon Field Engineering is seeking a Deputy Site Lead to join our team in support of The Ukraine Patriot Tech Assist (TA) program. This position will be located in Miesau, Germany. Interested candidates need a solid background in one or more of the following: organizational maintenance, intermediate maintenance, depot maintenance and/or tactical operations of the Patriot System. Daily duties include leading a team of MIRs, OAIs and Commo Tech’s providing remote Patriot support, interfacing with local US Army leadership, communicating to numerous US Govt. entities, managing daily schedules, updating reports, attending required meetings, and acting as the Site Lead in the lead’s absence. The selected candidate will provide expertise on system software applications (e.g., initialization, operation, and training). Supports tasks that ensure the integrated Patriot System is fully operational to include all aspects of the Air Battle at the BN and FU levels. Supports Patriot Air Defense Forces in its system refresher operator training to battery and battalion personnel to maintain, improve, and upgrade skills. Performs other related duties as required or directed by the Site Lead and Global Patriot leadership.
Perform independent assessments, audits, and special inspections of site activities and report results to the Site Lead and PMs.
Generate recurring technical and programmatic reports as required.
Develop/enhance the TA team skill set as it relates to the support of daily operations (system maintenance, console ops, system troubleshooting, etc.).
Act as primary contact in the absence of the Site Lead.
As required, support End User Training, Equipment Fielding, and Maintenance and assessments of retrograded equipment.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES THE CANDIDATE TO OBTAIN A TECHNICAL EXPERT STATUS ACCREDITATION (TESA) IN ORDER TO LEGALLY WORK IN GERMANY IN SUPPORT OF THE PROGRAM. FAILURE TO OBTAIN THE TESA WILL RESULT IN THE CANDIDATE NOT BEING ELIGIBLE FOR THE ROLE.
Qualifications You Must Have :
Must have successfully completed training in one of the following Patriot, Systems Maintenance, or Ordinance related Military Occupational Specialty courses and been awarded one of the following 14A, 14E, 14T, 140E, 140K, 140L, 27X, 94S, 948D MOS designators. This formal training must have been conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) or an equivalent course of instruction conducted by the Patriot Missile System or Ordinance Contractor.
Must have at least 5 years of experience with the Patriot Air Defense System.
Must have proven team leadership skills.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with providing Technical Advice and Assistance to Patriot Battery personnel with operational and tactical procedures with the Patriot System.
Good working knowledge of PATRIOT communication links.
Graduate of the U.S. Army Top Gunner/Master Gunner Course.
Required Education:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years
prior relevant experience, or
An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
