The Sr Analyst, Compensation is the key resource for Lennar and its’ subsidiaries in North America. Position handles and leads other analysts in completing salary and bonus programs and supports other Compensation programs such as merit planning and stock awards. Reviews and recommends salary placements for new hires and assists HR Team and Hire Managers with Compensation related issues.

Your Responsibilities on the Team 

  • Administer base pay and bonus programs.  This includes market benchmarking of new jobs, maintaining bonus information throughout the year, and working with the rest of the Compensation team to ensure bonuses are paid correctly and timely. 

  • Manage and lead other analysts in survey participation and analysis, Compensation integration for mergers and acquisitions.  

  • Administer and lead other analysts in maintaining the job code table within PeopleSoft, and work with HRIS to ensure PeopleSoft meets the needs of the Compensation department.   

  • Work with Compensation director on a variety of projects including program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation of new programs.  

  • Assist HR managers and managers with Compensation related issues. 

  • Performs analyses and makes recommendations on projects and human resource metrics. 

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, another related analytical field, or equivalent related experience. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in the analysis, design and/or administration of Compensation programs.  
  • Three years’ experience performing Compensation and data analysis preferred.

Knowledge of:

  • Human Resources principles and best practices in Compensation including job analysis/evaluation. 
  • Applicable Federal, State, and local rules, regulations and/or statutes. 
  • Research methods and data analysis techniques.
  • Customer service principles. 

Skill in:

  • Conducting studies and preparing sound recommendations.
  • Analyzing and interpreting policies, practices and procedures.
  • Excel for analysis of data and utilizing computer technology used for communication, data gathering and reporting.
  • Conducting research, analyzing information and data and presenting findings in a concise format.

Ability to:

  • Effectively communicate both in writing and verbally
  • Handle sensitive and confidential matters and situations. 
  • Understand and follow broad and complex instructions.
  • Maintaining confidentiality.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
