Your role and responsibilities

The Web Expert, Digital Communications Center of Excellence (CoE), leads the Motion Divisions governance, quality, and execution of product/services related web content and landing pages across countries. The role ensures consistent application of web templates, adherence to brand and technical standards, web processes and seamless integration of web assets into broader digital campaigns. The Web Expert collaborates closely with the Digital CoE Manager, external vendors, MarTech CoE, Motion Business Area, ABB Group, and IS teams to ensure web governance, improvements, and cross-functional alignment.

The role is contributing to the Motion divisions globally. You will report to the Digital Communications Center of Expertise (CoE) Manager, Motion Divisions.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Web content execution and governance: building, adapting, and publishing pages using approved templates while ensuring compliance with web standards, SEO hygiene, accessibility, metadata, and brand guidelines.

  • Global web operational support and coordination: managing market requests through the CoE ticketing system, overseeing translation workflows with external vendors, and providing hands‑on guidance to regions and countries.

  • Performance monitoring and continuous improvement: tracking landing‑page performance globally, identifying recurring issues, and recommending solutions to streamline processes, enhance quality, and improve user experience.

  • Cross‑functional alignment and representation: collaborating with MarTech, platform owners, and internal groups on technical updates and marketing automation needs, ensuring web delivery aligns with campaign execution and broader CoE priorities.

Qualifications for the role

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in web content management, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), global web governance, and digital production.

  • Extensive knowledge of web templates, page building, metadata, SEO fundamentals, accessibility standards, and UX best practices.

  • Solid understanding of how web pages support digital campaigns and customer journeys.

  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including technical teams, MarTech, IS, and external vendors.

  • Good attention to detail, quality orientation, and ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.

  • Fluent English language skills.
