Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a self-starting, motivated Maintenance Janitor 3 team member to join our dedicated Southern California field engineering team. The team designs, develops, tests, delivers, and operates advanced prototypes and unique marine systems. The new team member will have the opportunity to perform a variety of janitorial functions in support of our field engineering team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Maintains premises, rest and working areas of offices and industrial buildings in clean and orderly condition.
- Performs a combination of dusting furniture, walls, fixtures, or equipment; sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, or buffing floors.
- Removing refuse.
- Polishing furniture, fixtures, or trimmings.
- Providing janitorial supplies.
- Cleaning lavatories, showers, or rest rooms
Basic Qualifications for Maintenance Janitor 3:
- HS Diploma and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Previous professional experience working in a janitorial or related work environment.
- Ability lift, bend, and perform physical activities consistent with daily duties.
- Must have and be able to maintain an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) prior to starting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior janitorial experience in an industrial environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
Salary Range: $44,600.00 - $74,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
