Job Description:

Partners with region and market leaders and leverages sales analytics to deepen client relationships, drive new client acquisition, and grow revenue. Responsible for region sales administration to include participation in the development and inspection of strategic priorities and initiatives, ensuring effective communication and training, with emphasis on sales effectiveness and advisory excellence, and providing oversight for the regional Commercial Associate program. Leads, coaches, and influences by developing relationships across market and region leadership, within the client teams and with key partners. Enables client teams to improve revenue growth by providing support and tools to effectively prioritize and organize, thus increasing effectiveness and efficiency.  The SPM partners with region and market leaders to understand core business issues and drive focused solutions.

This position supports the Southwest Middle Market Region.

The SPM will be responsible for the following:

  • Help plan, execute and coordinate the regional strategic plan, initiatives and business routines, in support of Global Commercial Banking vision and strategic priorities
  • Lead the market business/deal review routines for the region
  • Liaison with Sales Enablement, Finance, Client Data & Analytics and leverage analytics to identify opportunities and performance variability
  • Drive education and adoption of sales tools to improve sales effectiveness, including BofA Source, Tableau Dashboard Reports, GCB Central
  • Provide Ad Hoc/Routine Reporting & Analysis
  • Promote strong product partnerships and productivity through disciplined inspection and meeting routines
  • Drive business Integration by building strong partnerships with wealth management and financial life benefit partners
  • Support region Employee Engagement and D&I culture with leadership of recognition activities, training, new hire orientation, RM Cohort program and Executive Council routines, as needed
  • Oversee regional business support activities, such as local coverage strategy, business continuity and facilities management as needed
  • Manage operational risk to include quarterly pitchbook review, Non NA business review and strict data integrity adherence

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting a sales organization, including executives, and/or have had direct client/sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multiple partners, manage multiple priorities/projects simultaneously, and design and deliver materials for in-person or virtual meetings
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executives, peers and partners in a wide range of settings; strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong computer, presentation, and facilitation skills
