Leidos seeks a Deputy Program Manager to provide oversight to operations of energy-efficiency programs for industrial and commercial facilities near Detroit, Michigan. This exciting position offers a unique career opportunity for managing a team and program that will provide Energy Advisor outreach to customers and Energy Engineering project support to meet sales energy saving electric and gas goals.  It is key to have a strong communication, management experience, and effective organizational skills to support the Program Manager to meet the program milestones and goals.

The Challenge:

  • Support management of the large C&I energy efficiency program to meet energy goals and program milestones.  This will include oversight of all aspects of program delivery including program marketing, program outreach and program engineering support.
  • Direct oversight of Strategic Energy Management and Retro-commissioning programs
  • Maintain strong client relationships
  • Advise on strategic program decisions
  • Oversee implementation of the strategic changes to the program and track their success
  • Deliver presentations to program stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with Program Manager on important issues related to program metrics
  • Provide strategic direction to C&I Energy Advisor team to maximize results
  • Provide strategic direction to program engineering support and technical project reviews including field verification of pre and post installation of energy efficiency measures

What Sets You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical degree with eight plus (8+) years of relevant experience in energy efficiency programs and/or energy management. Experience in industrial manufacturing or commercial building environments is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communications are essential.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software is required.
  • It is critical that productivity and accuracy be demonstrated in performance of work.
  • This position requires a valid driver’s license and physical ability to perform field verification of pre and post installation of energy efficiency measures.

You Might also have:

  • Five plus (5+) years of relevant experience with industrial or commercial retro-commissioning, and/or strategic energy management practices

Pay Range:

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
