Enviva is looking for a Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance to provide analytical support for key business decisions across the organization. The Senior Analyst will develop and maintain financial models and presentations which will be utilized in the decision-making and strategic planning process.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed financial analyses support critical business decisions and strategic planning
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization, including Commercial, Operations, Procurement, Legal, Treasury, Accounting, etc. to align financial objectives with overall business strategies and goals.
  • Create and maintain financial models and presentations utilized by senior management and other key stakeholders in the decision-making process.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives by providing critical thinking, financial expertise, and analytical support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, enhance data accuracy and integrity, and implement best practices to optimize operational performance.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a focus in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or other finance related field including FP&A, treasury, accounting, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented and well organized
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work under critical deadlines, and manage workload with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team, and assume additional responsibilities as required
  • Ability to develop solid, trusted relationships
  • Strong MS Excel financial modeling skills and ability to produce high quality PowerPoint presentations
