Job Title: Security Platform Intern

Vision & Mission: Sun Life is a global Financial Services company. Our Information Security team are responsible for ensuring that Sun Life information is protected and to maintain operational stability from cyber threats with team members located in Waterford and around the globe. Overview of what we do:

Our Security Platform Analysts are part of the Information Security – Security Operations team who provide a wide range of services to support the Information Security space. From one day to the next you could be touching each platform within the security stack

Responsibilities/tasks:

As a Security Platform Intern:

You will be tasked with participating in the below high-level Platforms

• Email Security – Getting an understanding of corporate tools used to protect email communications.
• Endpoint Security – Management of tools to protect endpoints like Server, Desktops and Mobile devices.
• Perimeter and Application Security – Web Application Firewall, API protection and secure content delivery.
• Cloud Security – Implementation of tools to protect cloud infrastructure including vulnerability management.
• Crypto Security – Protection and administration of solutions to maintain security keys and secrets.
• Security Visibility – SIEM, Log management with tools used to assess for security attacks.
• Automation and Orchestration – Automating of security tasks and processes enhancing the security posture.
