We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate professional to join our Currency Management team with extensive governance experience relating to maintaining, monitoring, and strengthening processes and frameworks related to IT Asset lifecycles.  BMO’s Currency practice focuses on inventory management, EOL remediation strategies, Risk acceptance and exception management, reporting and data quality.

The candidates focus will be ensuring we manage, measure, monitor, and adhere to Currency processes and controls, and ensures that the process design reflects the current business strategy and business/stakeholder requirements in order to supports the desired customer experience.

  • Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.

  • Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business/group strategy.

  • Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.

  • Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Builds effective relationships and collaborates with internal/external stakeholders.

  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.

  • Ensures alignment between stakeholders

  • Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.

  • Leads or participates in defining the change/communication plan designed to positively influence or change behaviour; develops tailored messaging; and identifies appropriate distribution channels.

  • Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.

  • Develops and documents processes, procedures, etc. and/ or end-user materials.

  • Assists with the documentation of end user materials.

  • Assists with training and transition of processes and tools/templates to appropriate process owners.

  • Collaborates in the design, implementation and management of core business/group processes.

  • Designs processes based on business requirements and best practices. Ensures the processes adhere to applicable risk, regulatory and compliance requirements.

  • Streamlines, simplifies and continuously improves existing processes

  • Represents the governance structure during internal/external regulatory audits and/or examinations.

  • Assists with the coordination and management of the review and sign-off of relevant regulatory reporting.

  • Assists in the identification, classification and addressing of issues.

  • Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.

Qualifications

  • Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

Salary:

$74,800.00 - $138,600.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
