What you'll do:

As a Commercial Credit Card Sales Account Manager, you'll be responsible to support the growth of our largest commercial credit card clients. You will know and understand assigned clients commercial card spend patterns, identify potential future spend opportunities, assist in vendor receivables matching activities on behalf of the client and be a resource to both internal sales colleagues and clients on expanding the use of cards in client’s payables operations, develop client’s digital card and payments footprint via a consultative approach.

What we are looking for:

  • Monitor and understand client spend behavior, identify card spend opportunities, benchmark client program against peer set, understand industry best practices to assist clients with vendor engagement
  • Support the commercial card program value proposition and improve its features and benefits over time to ensure a best in class offering using both observed practices and client feedback
  • Execute plans for assigned card portfolios including all new and existing program and product development, implementation, roll out and campaign management.
  • Monitor, track and report key performance metrics including progress against portfolio goals/objectives and trend analysis to management and key stakeholders
  • Support implementation and operations teams to optimize current processes and long term process improvements by providing guidance, expertise and influence
  • Partner cross-functionally in the development of calendars, analysis and implementation of client campaigns and service offerings to drive acquisition and increase card payables adoption and overall usage of the product
  • Provide input into the creation of the card product roadmap and long-term strategies for commercial credit card products/, including recommendations on features, vendors and processes to enhance portfolio growth and profitability.


What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent from a college or university and a minimum of (1) or more years related experience and/or training or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  Work related experience should consist of relevant experience in the financial industry.  May have completed a credit training program or have experience working in a branch or TM support or sales capacity.
  • Entry level knowledge of general banking, including understanding of bank products, services, and regulations, policies and procedures, with an emphasis in treasury management, credit facilities, or a combination.
  • Entry level knowledge of deposit and payment products, and online technology platforms, sales concepts, and banking regulations.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
