Summary
In this role you are responsible for providing direction to the team members on daily activities and managing workload. You must lead by example and ensure that each member of your team has clear objectives, understands their tasks and deliverables, and works collaboratively within the group. In addition to ensuring timely delivery of results, it’s important that you maintain effective communication channels between the teams and stakeholders. Finally, it’s essential that you provide regular feedback and coaching to help team members grow professionally.

About the Role
• Provide guidance to the team on how to effectively manage resources and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards
• Identify potential risks or issues early on in the project life cycle and develop mitigation strategies accordingly
• Ensure proper documentation throughout the entirety of the project lifecycle
• Facilitate effective communication amongst team members and other stakeholders
• Maintain open lines of communication with customers and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct periodic reviews of progress against schedule, identify any issues or problems that arise, and propose solutions to address them
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement or cost savings related to processes, tools, technology, etc.
• Monitor project budgets closely and ensure they remain within budgeted limits

About You

• Advanced knowledge of ONESOURCE Tax Provision software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or equivalent.
• Experience working as a consultant or implementing complex systems/projects preferred
• Strong understanding of tax provision software implementations including project management best practices and methodologies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization
• Demonstrated success in developing and leading high performance teams
• Ability to drive change through innovative ideas and problem solving
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to handle multiple competing priorities simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
• Thorough understanding of the tax laws and regulations impacting corporate income tax compliance, including ASC 740, Financial Reporting, and SEC reporting requirements

Compensation: $125,000 + 15% Annual Bonus

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $102,200 - $189,800. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
