Job Responsibilities:
Assist to ensure that the Food and Beverage activities are aligned with the respective Corporate Strategy, and that the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate
Develop lasting relationships with guests and patrons of the Food & Beverage Operations
Ensure smooth operations and ensure guest services and products are delivered according to MGM’s standard
Ensure that the outlet is operated in line with maximizing profit while delivering on the brand promise
Coordinate with staff to ensure proper services provided, considering special requests and food allergies
Discuss with chef on producing menus and promotional programs
Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily
Maximize employee productivity through the use of multi-skill, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests
Adhere to hotel guidelines when recruiting and uses a competency-based approach to selecting employees
Job Requirements:
Minimum 10 years' experience in Japanese fine dining or Omakase restaurant, familiar with relevant industries, with at least 3 years solid experience in supervising and running the daily operation of restaurant
Bachelor's degree in Food & Beverage or related field preferred
Excellent language skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese; conversational Japanese
Proficient in general computer software operations such as MS office
Demonstrate strong leadership, adaptability, and supervisory capabilities, with a proactive attitude toward embracing challenges
Possess excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
Exhibit a collaborative spirit and excels in team communication and cooperation
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, a proactive approach, and a high sense of responsibility
Maintain a neat and professional appearance, adhering to strict hygiene standards
Must be able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
