Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist to ensure that the Food and Beverage activities are aligned with the respective Corporate Strategy, and that the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate

  • Develop lasting relationships with guests and patrons of the Food & Beverage Operations

  • Ensure smooth operations and ensure guest services and products are delivered according to MGM’s standard

  • Ensure that the outlet is operated in line with maximizing profit while delivering on the brand promise

  • Coordinate with staff to ensure proper services provided, considering special requests and food allergies

  • Discuss with chef on producing menus and promotional programs

  • Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily

  • Maximize employee productivity through the use of multi-skill, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests

  • Adhere to hotel guidelines when recruiting and uses a competency-based approach to selecting employees

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Japanese fine dining or Omakase restaurant, familiar with relevant industries, with at least 3 years solid experience in supervising and running the daily operation of restaurant

  • Bachelor's degree in Food & Beverage or related field preferred

  • Excellent language skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese; conversational Japanese

  • Proficient in general computer software operations such as MS office

  • Demonstrate strong leadership, adaptability, and supervisory capabilities, with a proactive attitude toward embracing challenges

  • Possess excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset

  • Exhibit a collaborative spirit and excels in team communication and cooperation

  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, a proactive approach, and a high sense of responsibility

  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance, adhering to strict hygiene standards

  • Must be able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
