Inside Sales Rep

Description -

What an Inside Sales Rep does at HP:

  • Determines operational objectives by studying business data; gathering information; and evaluating opportunities virtually
  • Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports with recommendation actions.
  • Meeting weekly sales KPI through sales activities
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Able to develop positive relationships and solving problems
  • Skills include negotiation, communication, ability to influence others, risk taker, problem solver, and project management skills
  • Understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel
  • Basic understanding of HP's organization & operations, including key business rules, partner segmentation, key programs & initiatives.
  • Understanding of a specific set of HP's products, software, and services.
  • Able to communicate and work with country sales managers of identified opportunities, and overcome objections from countries
  • Partners effectively with other stakeholders to ensure coordinated, efficient process management
  • Experience developing positive relationships and solving difficult situation
  • Able to work independently

• Impacts own work and acts as a team member by providing information in support of team efforts.

Complexity
• Works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment and/or minimal problem resolution is required.
