The Opportunity

This position works out of our Orlando location in the Abbott Heart Failure, Acelis Connected Health business. Our Heart Failure solutions are helping address some of the World’s greatest healthcare challenges.

As the Inside Sales Manager, VAD you will work closely with the Inside Account Executive team to meet goals for new business and implement the commercial strategy.  

Principle Responsibilities

  • Meets (and/or exceeds) national sales goals as defined by the company.
  • Directs activities of inside sales to plan procedures, establish responsibilities, and coordinate functions among staff by assigning or delegating responsibilities.
  • Develops and implements strategic action plans for inside sales team.
  • Manages and coaches’ current inside sales activities, communicates changes and progress.
  • Deploy and coaching and execute company, regional, and individual territory growth goals.
  • Directs, coaches, and assists current regional inside sales team with maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Assist as needed with marketing needs and development of materials and marketing programs.
  • Develop, interpret, and manage regional sales performance, analytical, and activity reports.
  • Supports Managed Care sales team as required by identifying insurance opportunities and leveraging customer support
  • Assist with related special projects as required.
  • Demonstrate consistency, proficiency, and accuracy in required self and staff use of Acelis Connected Health operating systems related to specific job function (including Salesforce.com, Concur, & ADP TimeSaver).
  • Works with multiple functional areas (Marketing, Sales, Clinical/Training, Operations) in planning and coordination of growth efforts and initiatives.
  • Understands and adheres to business processes and procedures.
  • Maintain a culture of accountability via setting of clear objectives throughout all employees in areas of responsibility through regular follow-up, variance tracking and results.
  • Oversight for the selection of employees, setting expectations, motivating, and developing new hires
  • Conduct accurate and timely assessment of subordinates through quarterly and annual performance reviews
  • Conduct management responsibilities in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Attends trade shows, patient education programs, and health fairs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or four to ten years related Sales experience
  • Overnight travel required – Occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with SFDC
  • Strong analytics

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work at a computer workstation for extended periods of time
  • No lifting over ten pounds required without assistance

The base pay for this position is

$83,000.00 – $166,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
