What You Will Do:

The Mako Robotics Technical Clinical Analyst (TCA) provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. The TCA checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment and instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. This position also serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects and interprets customers’ needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers.

In addition to maintaining an assigned localized Field Service Territory, the TCA will support nationally providing high-level technical analysis of inconsistent clinical results, execute training of team members, and deliver standardized report outs to senior leadership. The TCA will work closely in accordance with our Fort Lauderdale-based Mako Robotics training and engineering teams to maintain critical level of robotic procedure knowledge, driving the success of our global install base.

Additional responsibilities may require you to:

  • Repair, maintain, operate, and clinically use Stryker robotic systems and instrumentation, and schedule and perform required preventive maintenance visits.
  • Convey customer feedback (Voice Of Customer (VOC) to R&D and engineering staff. 
  • Manage field inventory, tools, test equipment, technical documentation and other assigned equipment.
  • Complete field service documentation in an accurate and timely manner, including field service and expense reports.
  • Perform pre-sales technical support duties, including assisting the sales team with customer demos.
  • Instruct customers on operation and maintenance of equipment, software and hardware upgrades/updates, installation and maintenance of equipment at conventions, road shows, and cadaver labs as required.
  • Provide high-level technical analysis of inconsistent clinical results.
  • Create and maintain strong collaborative relationships between Field and JR/MPS Team.
  • Provide training sign off and coaching to Field Service new hires; assist in development and deployment of advanced trainings.
  • Provide ancillary support to Florida-based training teams in times of need and high demand.
  • Collaborate with the Service Engineering team on product troubleshooting and refurbishment.
  • Monitor global support email and provide guidance.
  • Deliver system care training and best practice sessions to MPS/JR team members at the branch level.

What You Need:

Required:

  • Minimum 4 years’ work experience with bachelor’s degree, or 10 years relevant work experience without degree
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Robotics or Navigation-Assisted Technical or Clinical role

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in a field-based customer facing role

$75,300 - $156,900 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors
