The Lending Advisor is a key member of the Citi Private Bank (CPB) team of specialists, acting as a proactive and responsive product advocate for credit.
Establish a reputation of execution and excellence. Gain confidence of CPB Banker teams to fully develop the lending opportunities with their clients.
The internal sales leader for Structured Lending and Margin credit offerings, liaising with the CPB Banker teams, GMMs, Investment Counselors, and non-CPB partners to ensure credit is a core part of the CPB offering.
Partner with Private Banker teams to profile their client and prospect base, identify and analyze business opportunities and direct opportunities into the appropriate channel. Conduct book reviews on a regular and recurring basis to uncover needs and deliver sophisticated and innovative solutions to client and prospect financings or restructurings.
Delivers credit strategy for the region to clients, developing and implementing best practices and product specific marketing strategies in coordination with GMM and PB teams. Understand and articulate the market for the specific products, competitive environment, gaps, challenges, and opportunities.
Maximize revenue generation while achieving acceptable minimum return targets ensuring responsible lending growth.
Act as the initial subject matter expert for internal and client inquires on Private Banking lending products. Participate in regional sales and product partner calls on regular basis.
Schedule regular and recurring informational and educational sessions on credit topics with CPB Banker teams to increase awareness and improve knowledge base and lending acumen. Utilize success stories, market data, and best practices to build knowledge and skill set of CPB Banker teams on a consistent and recurring basis.
Marketing and sale of the full IF Product range, including client calling and account planning in partnership with CPB Banker teams and possess the ability to self-identify new credit opportunities.
Build, promote and maintain adequate pipeline of opportunities to meet all Private Banking metrics and targets, including, but not limited to client acquisition, production, balances, revenue, banker participation, units, etc.
Leverage and coordinate other CPB product specialists to understand business momentum and client/prospect wins, and provide interdisciplinary expertise for our most complex clients.

Qualifications:
10+ years of UHNW lending experience
Strong and proven analytical, financial structuring and execution skills
Strong marketing and sales skills
Good knowledge of financial markets, investments, banking and loan products
Financial and cash flow modelling
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Good negotiation skills
Strong initiative and interactive approach to problem solving
Displays flexibility and independence in a demanding environment

$182,400.00 - $273,600.00
