Job Description:

This job is responsible for independently processing complex transactions supporting the movement of account assets and other fulfillment processing. Key responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of issue resolution, working across multiple operations and product specialists, and ensuring procedures are clearly documented and up to date. Job expectations include supporting projects, initiatives and preparing executive-level reports and presentations.

Responsibilities:

Wealth Management Retail Clients have access to trade large blocks of equities or options through the Investment Solution Groups block trading desk.  This Wealth Management Operations role provides onsite operational support to the Investment Solutions Groups options and equity block trading desks.

  • Allocate block options executions to individual Client accounts.
  • Assist in the processing of foreign currency to US dollars to support international trades.
  • Monitor trading system for trade rejects.
  • Aggregate trader spread sheets and compile desk activity reports.
  • Book all manual street side and Client facing options and equity trades executed by the trading desk.
  • Ensure accuracy for all negotiated trades execute by the desk.
  • Liaison with internal trade clearing and settlement teams to identify and resolve trade breaks for desk activity.
  • Assist retail traders with trade error resolution.
  • Provide back up support to other trading support functions as required.
  • Leads end-to-end resolution of complex client issues and inquiries, including research, escalation and approvals for items with high levels of monetary risk
  • Drives execution of complex financial and non-financial client transactions• Supports process improvements, requirements, and initiatives across multiple stakeholders
  • Performs quality assurance reviews, testing, and training to ensures high performance accuracy of performance metrics and quality standards
  • Supports risk management and audit processes, including identification of issues, development of mitigation strategies, and exam preparation
  • Reviews and updates written procedures to ensure accuracy
  • Supports operational team projects and production of executive-level reports and presentations for senior management as needed

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of 1-year related experience in financial services
  • Experience supporting a financial product sales or marketing desk.
  • Experience resolving equity trade breaks.
  • Knowledge of equities, options, and the trading lifecycle
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced trading environment
  • Detail oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience reconciling trading ledgers.​
