Summary of Job Duties:

The Training Specialist is responsible for developing online training content and supporting stakeholder areas in migrating content into the learning management system. This role involves creating engaging and effective relearning content, facilitating training sessions, and ensuring that participants achieve their learning objectives.

Position is both in-person and virtual.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Psychology or a related field
  • 2 years of relevant professional level experience (e.g., training, teaching) required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.

Special knowledge, abilities and skills:

  • Proficiency with Workday Learning; Preferred experience with Workday HCM and Service Now.
  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of content development and adult learning theories (ADDIE, Kolb’s Learning, etc.).
  • Works independently and in a collaborative setting.
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent relationship building and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent content development skills.

Physical Requirements: Sitting and computer use for extended periods of time.

Primary responsibilities will include supporting the Learning Management System Administrator in the management and coordination of the learning management system, and providing support to content owners in developing accessible content.
