Job Description

About the Role

The Physical Security Specialist supports the Loss Prevention department by maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing security technology systems, including Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) equipment, Intrusion Alarm Systems, and Product Protection devices and supplies. This position serves as a liaison between corporate leadership, field teams, and external vendors to ensure all physical security systems operate reliably and efficiently—reducing downtime, minimizing risk, and strengthening overall asset protection across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and troubleshoot the Loss Prevention Service Channel Dashboard, focusing on CCTV, Intrusion, Locks/Cores and Product Protection supplies.

  • Reduce field service calls by remotely diagnosing and resolving CCTV or hardware issues.

  • Process tickets through completion for repair and maintenance of CCTV systems, and other physical security equipment.

  • Serve as the liaison for escalations.

  • Ensure timely communication and resolution of critical security incidents.
    Assist in the creation and maintenance of best practices and troubleshooting reference materials related to CCTV, Intrusion, Locks/Cores and Product Protection for store teams and Field Loss Prevention teams.

  • Maintain accurate records of physical security devices, supplies, and building equipment.

  • Support store hardening projects and camera rollouts to strengthen physical security infrastructure.

  • Enter and manage purchase orders within the company’s procurement application/Service Channel. 

  • Maintain budgets and vendor relationships

  • Coordinate advanced replacement and equipment lifecycle management for store security hardware.

  • Additional tasks may be assigned

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent
