Position Summary

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at WashU in St. Louis, to work on a research project funded by the National Science Foundation. The researcher will be responsible for programming experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and helping to coordinate projects among investigators.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Trains under the supervision of a faculty mentor including (but not limited to):

• Design experiments and studies with mentor.

• Program research, collect and analyze data. Collaborate with colleagues at Rice University.

• Write manuscripts and give presentations.

• Supervise students and staff researchers.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• The candidate will have an office in Somers Family Hall (Psychology) and Seigle Hall (Education).

Base pay is commensurate with experience.

• Ph.D. in cognitive psychology or related fields.
• Excellent computer knowledge and skills.
• Possess a record of independent publication.
• Good programming and data analysis skills. 
• Experience with SPSS and/or R statistical programs, Excel, and programming (e.g., R, Python).
• Expertise in making graphs and presentations.
