How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Product Owner on the Fidelity Wealth team, you will be responsible for representing business priorities and managing product delivery on a cross-functional scrum team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery of critical wealth management capabilities, balancing business outcomes, regulatory considerations, and technology execution to deliver measurable value for advisors and clients.

    For this role, your total rewards include:

  • Base Salary and discretionary Performance Bonus: A competitive annual range of $94,000 to $117,000, based on your experience and qualifications.

  • RRSP Contribution: After 6 months of employment, we invest in your future with an RRSP contribution—no employee matching required.

This posting represents an existing vacancy within our organization—an opportunity to step into a role where your talents will make a meaningful difference.

You will set the vision and direction for key wealth management capabilities, including but not limited to:

  • Client onboarding experiences

  • Fund transfer capabilities

  • Trading functionality

These capabilities are delivered in close partnership with Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC) and other technology and business partners.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining the product vision and roadmap for enhancements to the onboarding, fund transfer, and trading capabilities delivered with partners

  • Owning the product lifecycle end to end, from intake and prioritization through delivery, release, and post-implementation evaluation

  • Leading user research and testing

  • Prioritizing the product backlog, epics and stories

  • Writing clear epics and stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria

  • Documenting use cases and defining feature requirements

  • Collaborating with partners across technology, FCC, marketing, and operations

  • Working with external partners to assess capabilities and align roadmaps

  • Using data to inform product roadmap choices and priorities

  • Evaluating work generated by the scrum team including UAT participation

  • Documenting processes and enabling reviews with legal, risk, and compliance

  • Partnering with Learning & Development to create training materials and job aids

  • Leading periodic business planning meetings and contributing to business reviews

What You’ll Need

  • Ability to understand client, advisor, and business needs and translate strategic objectives into action

  • Ability to develop a vision for product features and break them into clear and concise epics and stories

  • In-depth knowledge of Agile product management processes and principles

  • Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and leadership skills

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams

  • Capacity to lead, influence and motivate colleagues without formal authority

  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with senior leaders and partners

What We’re Looking For

  • University degree (Business, Commerce or related field) or equivalent work experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Agile product management experience

  • Experience supporting client onboarding, fund transfer, or trading platforms is an advantage

  • Experience working with clearing or custody partners is an asset

  • Understanding of wealth management business processes and experience in financial services is an asset

  • Scrum / Product Owner certification(s) is a nice to have

  • Bilingual (verbal and written) in English and French is an asset
