Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Patient Technician to join our team and play a key role in deploying the Circadia C200 device and supplementary equipment in patients' homes. This position involves installing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the proper functionality of medical technology while providing hands-on education to patients and caregivers. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, patient-focused, and knowledgeable about healthcare, with strong problem solving and excellent communication skills. Comfort with field-based travel and the ability to simplify complex concepts for patients are essential to ensuring successful device installations and user adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
-Travel to patients' homes to install and ensure proper functionality of our Circadia C200 device and supplemental medical equipment.
-Educate patients and their representatives on the Circadia program, explaining complex medical monitoring technology in an easy-to-understand manner.
-Ensure patients understand how their health data will be monitored remotely by our clinical team.
-Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure all equipment is properly programmed and functioning before leaving the site.
-Adapt to unique patient needs and environments, solving challenges on the spot when necessary.
-Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring patients feel comfortable and confident using the technology.
-Maintain accurate records of installations, troubleshooting issues, and patient interactions.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in a technical, customer-facing, or healthcare-related role (e.g., nursing aide, paramedic, or a similar position).
-Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in an easily digestible manner.
-Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve independently.
-Tech-savvy with a basic understanding of medical equipment and technology.
-Personable and patient-focused, with a dedication to providing high-quality care.
-Strong desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving field.
-Reliable transportation and willingness to travel daily for in-home visits.
