About the Role:

We require an Advertising Operations Executive at Virgin Media Television working on our new Virgin Media Play streaming service trafficking and scheduling Digital Advertising Campaigns.

Specific Duties & Tasks:

• Setting up and tracking digital advertising campaigns for Virgin Media Play & Virgin Media Set Top Box On-Demand.

• Proactively sourcing advertising copy & tags from advertising creative agencies.

• Monitoring Ad placements and campaigns for performance and delivery and develop strategies to increase campaign performance.

• Investigating and resolving delivery and performance issues.

• Liaising with the sales team to pull inventory forecasts and approve their outgoing proposals.

• Identifying and recommending solutions to help streamline pre- and post-sales processes for campaign execution.

• Pro-actively analysing campaign performance and recommending campaign optimisations.

• Preparing and delivering campaign reports.

• Participating in the creative pre-sale process for any of our potential clients, agencies or partners as needed.

• Managing ad-hoc file transfers of advertising inventory to VOD placement suppliers as required.

• Providing support to the VOD Lead and & Executive with Ad-Hoc projects and tasks.

• Delivering a best-in-class service and performance to our partners and for our users.

Skills & Expertise:

• Degree educated and/or with relevant industry experience.

• Strong organisation, detail orientated and time management skills.

• Able to interact comfortably with both clients and other internal departments.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to identify problems and solutions, streamline systems, set standards and lead by example.

• Knowledge of 3rd party ad tags and the ability to identify & fix issues are a bonus.

• Basic understanding of HTML, Flash, and JavaScript is also a bonus but not essential.

• Strong Microsoft Office Skills. Should be competent with Excel.
