What You Will Achieve
Working with Pfizer’s dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical role in the management of manufacturing information systems to improve manufacturing success rates and ensuring zero down time.

How You Will Achieve It
- Participate in Process Centric Teams (PCT) in supporting the development of production recipes and devising automation solutions that improve productivity, business operations and safety/quality standards.
- Troubleshoot Automation related issues in manufacturing operations. Participate in quality or safety investigations and implement automation solutions resulting from these investigations.
- Actively learn the process unit operations.
- Participate in periodic alarm review/analysis and work on solutions to reduce alarms under guidance of Senior Engineer.
- On Call Support for Operation team which includes after office-hours support on rotation basis.
- Responsible to raise Automation-related change controls in change management system
- Responsible to raise Automation-related incidents, events and QARs, and/or support cross functions in the investigation
- Participate in FAT / SAT tests as required
- Support in validating new Automation systems or any changes to existing systems.
- Provide support in Audit
- Author or update existing Automation SOPs and/or system design documentation as part of periodic review.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance of Automation systems as scheduled.
- Familiarity with identifying and addressing issues at recipe level and standard interfaces with Automation systems.
- Actively contribute to build and leverage on knowledge base within the automation team.
- Team player with proven performance records, creative thinking abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Provide training related to Automation systems to relevant cross function departments
- Co-ordinate and work with PGE Automation team members to investigate and troubleshoot critical issues as required
- Customer-focused, positive attitude and a demonstrated passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with vendors for troubleshooting of fundamental application software/architecture level issues
- Participate and actively support Digital for PGS initiatives involving system integrations, data connectivity, validation methods and value based optimization of manufacturing via process control system
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical / Electrical / Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
- 1-3 years of experience in Process Automation, preferably in a batch manufacturing environment
Extensive knowledge and experience in process automation system, preferably in Emerson Delta V
