 Key responsibilities: 

• Provide day-to-day testing support for a platform team delivering notification services to end users
• Represent testing throughout the delivery lifecycle, from discovery and requirements through estimation and release, promoting a culture of quality within the team
• Collaborate with engineering peers to improve development practices, including pairing, code and documentation reviews, and continuous delivery
• Define and execute appropriate test approaches based on product and audience needs
• Establish and contribute to automated testing frameworks, including writing and maintaining automated tests within continuous deployment pipelines
• Lead investigation and troubleshooting of issues, identifying root causes and coordinating resolution with relevant teams

Required Qualifications: 

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g. SQS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CodePipeline, API Gateway)
• TypeScript programming experience
• Experience with API automated testing frameworks
• Background working within a multi-discipline Agile team
• Use of API testing tools such as Postman, Bruno, Insomnia, or similar

Desired Qualifications:

• Coding experience with Python and/or JavaScript
• Exposure to load and performance testing
