Position Summary

As the Spec-in Design Engineer, you’re responsible for developing specifying systems for buildings ensuring you meet the project requirements and regulations. This involves being the technical support for retail, project and channel sales team, including closely working with our dealers, project contractors, consultants and developers. Role and Responsibilities

Roles and responsibilities include, but is not limited to:

• Evaluate and take-off of mechanical bid plans and specification
• Prepare equipment selection
• Create Bill of Quantity (BOQ)
• Prepare estimate for installation materials, labor and other direct costs for the project.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and costumers regarding the mechanical design and specification requirements
• Make inquiries to the suppliers for the equipment and materials needed for the installation costing.
• Identify and document design and project constraints
• Develop installation and materials standards
• Serve as focal point of technical inquiry for SEPCO-SAC Product lines
• Perform design training internally and externally
• Prepare and submit reports as required by his immediate manager
• Lead in delivering what is expected of his team.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have/be able to:

• Bachelor’s Degree holder with a degree in Engineering
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in design, installation in the Aircon Industry
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and design.
• Problem-Solving:
• Ability to identify and resolve design challenges, analyze test results, and implement effective solutions.
• Communication:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present design concepts, collaborate with teams, and document design decisions.
• Project Management:
• Ability to manage design tasks, meet deadlines, and contribute to project planning and execution.
• Must be willing to work onsite at McKinley Hill, Taguig
