JR65283 PAYROLL ANALYST

As a Payroll analyst at Micron you will responsible to generate the company payroll, time management, tax, stock, social insurance and pension. You will meet government reporting requirements for payroll taxes, withholding, and employer contributions.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Payroll

  • Preform payroll process and ensure employee are paid accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Familiar with Taiwan law to ensure compliance in all statutory contributions and filings.
  • Troubleshoot system errors and evaluate impacts. Perform system testing to ensure data integrity.
  • Perform documented controls (such as SOX, RBA)

Time management

  • Process and verify Time and Attendance record through payroll system.
  • Annual calendar planning, public holiday management.
  • Analysis the time and attendance record for business need.

Tax

  • Process Taiwan employee Tax withholding and filing to government.
  • Foreign employee tax management
  • Collaborate with out-sourced vendor to ensure the accuracy for oversea assignee’s tax.
  • Preform Tax equalization calculation and process.

Stock

  • Process Taiwan stock taxable income calculation and filing to government.

Social Insurance and pension

  • Preform social insurance and pension process and ensure the compliance.
  • Analysis the benefit information for business need

Internal, External Relationships and Projects

  • Support regional Payroll, Tax and Time projects.
  • Maintain Internal and External Relationships
  • Identify, troubleshoot customer reported errors and provide resolution to customers.
  • Build relationships, and credibility, with Micron team members and supervisors.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with other Departments (i.e., Accounting, Treasury, other People Departments)
  • Ensure Payroll, Tax and Time contents on payroll system are updated promptly and accurately.

Education  

Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience

Experience  

  • Good at improving workflow, collaboration, logical thinking and analysis, coordinate and communicate across functions.
  • Fluency in English communication skills on listening, speaking, reading and writing.
  • Be enthusiastic on Taiwan labor laws and tax regulation.
  • Be enthusiastic on Payroll, Tax and Time policy and analysis.
