We are Air Products, a leading multinational company in the industrial sector, highly interested in having committed, motivated employees who seek professional stability as part of our team. We’re seeking an Server Engineer, this position will be primarily focused on technical support of the infrastructure services and components for our Windows and Linux server environments distributed across the globe as well as in the AWS cloud. The incumbent would be responsible for security patching, incident management, server installation and configuration, and performance troubleshooting.

Principal Accountabilities

• Provide 7x24 level 2-3 global support with follow-the-sun rotation model for Air Products computing platforms with the focus on the server environment.

• Support activities for servers worldwide and in the AWS cloud which includes.

• Monthly security patching.

• Handling incidents which would include server down situations, performance issues, server migrations to the AWS cloud, resource management including modifying CPU, RAM, and storage configurations.

• Work with application developers and database administrators to deploy new solutions.

• Comply with all AP ITIL Service Level Management objectives including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management to ensure the delivery of serve services per agreed service level and operational expectations.

• Provide root cause analysis for service outages when appropriate.

• Execute project tasks and participate in the development of project scope definition and planning, risk analysis, and documentation.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience supporting Windows and Linux server environments in enterprise infrastructures.

• Hands-on experience with server installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with incident management, including server outages and performance issues.

• Basic to intermediate experience supporting AWS cloud environments.

• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management).

• Ability to perform root cause analysis and document issues clearly.

• Experience working with application and database teams.

• Availability to work in a follow-the-sun L2–L3 support model.

• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
