OVERVIEW

YOUR ROLE AS A: Security Compliance Officer
You will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring aviation security compliance across Thai AirAsia operations, leading AVSEC governance, documentation, and programs to protect the airline from acts of unlawful interference in line with national and international regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION

• Ensure systems, policies, procedures, and practices are established and maintained to prevent acts of unlawful interference against Thai AirAsia operations.

• Lead Aviation Security (AVSEC) functions related to operational documentation, compliance, and training development.

• Ensure full compliance with regulatory and industry requirements, including CAAT, ICAO, IOSA, EASA, and host state regulations.

• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Airline Operator Security Program (AOSP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring regulatory approval and ongoing effectiveness.

• Assess the aviation security environment by identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating vulnerabilities related to potential risk events.

• Ensure security countermeasures are appropriate and proportionate to identified risks affecting Thai AirAsia and its contractors.

• Coordinate and support annual audits and inspections to evaluate the effectiveness of aviation security programs.

• Report security compliance matters, risk events, and program effectiveness to the Security Compliance Executive.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree in any field, or equivalent years of experience in Aviation Security (AVSEC).

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in managing aviation security within an airline environment.

• Completion of relevant AVSEC management and aviation security training courses.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and operate in a dynamic and challenging environment.

• Able to work collaboratively while maintaining a high level of accountability and integrity.

• Willing to undergo extensive background checks, including criminal history and reference verification.
