About the role

We're bringing together operational data and analytics into a single global team within the Central Data Office, creating the data foundation that supports the future of Downstream.

As Head of Operations Data & Analytics, you'll lead a global team supporting Mobility & Convenience, Aviation, Pulse EV Charging, and Convenience businesses across multiple markets. Together, we'll use data, analytics, automation, and AI to improve decision-making, identify opportunities, and help teams operate more effectively.

What you'll deliver

You'll help us build a connected analytics capability that enables better business decisions and measurable business outcomes.

Key outcomes include:

• Building a unified global analytics team that delivers trusted insights across regions and business lines.
• Creating a clear process for prioritising analytics demand and focusing resources on the highest-value opportunities.
• Delivering meaningful reporting and insights that help leaders improve performance and make informed decisions.
• Establishing shared tools, standards, and reusable solutions that scale across markets.
• Expanding the use of automation, analytics, and AI to improve efficiency and business performance.
• Strengthening partnerships across business, technology, finance, and data teams.
• Developing team capability and creating an environment where people can learn, contribute, and grow.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a leader who enjoys building teams, solving business challenges, and turning data into value.

You'll bring:

• Experience leading data, analytics, reporting, or business intelligence teams in large, complex organisations.
• A track record of translating business priorities into practical and measurable outcomes.
• Experience working across multiple markets, functions, and stakeholder groups.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how data supports business performance.
• Experience leading change and establishing new ways of working.
• The ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience developing teams and creating an inclusive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience leading analytics, reporting, or data teams.
• 18+ years of experience with modern analytics, AI, automation, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience partnering with senior business leaders to shape priorities and strategy.

Who you'll work with

You'll partner closely with leaders across Mobility & Convenience, Aviation, Pulse EV, Technology, Finance, and Data organisations. Together, we'll use data and analytics to improve performance, support decision-making, and create value across the Downstream business.
