As a Bookkeeper, you will find satisfaction in managing and executing a range of financial activities, including:

  • Accounts Payable Management: Overseeing all processes associated with the accounts payable function, including meticulous review and processing of payments to both local and international vendors.

  • Accounts Receivable Handling: Executing various tasks related to accounts receivable, such as invoicing, deposit management, sales tax handling, and ensuring compliance with revenue recognition protocols.

  • Assisting with Audits and Financial Reporting: Providing support during corporate audits and contributing to meeting diverse financial reporting necessities as required.

  • Reporting to Tax Authorities: Managing reporting responsibilities to all pertinent tax authorities, ensuring compliance and accuracy in submissions.

  • End-of-Month Closing Support: Collaborating in the seamless execution of end-of-month closing procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

  • Part qualified Accountant as a minimum.

  • Minimum 2 Years Bookkeeping Experience: Previous experience in bookkeeping is essential, with additional preference given to candidates with experience in tech companies.

  • Fluency in English & French: Strong command of the English & French languages, both written and verbal.

  • ERP Proficiency: Familiarity and prior experience working with ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, Priority, or similar platforms.

  • Service-Oriented and Team Player: Displaying a service-oriented mindset, coupled with a friendly demeanour and a collaborative attitude as a team player.
